What are you doing to retain volunteers? What are you reporting when it comes to volunteer retention and attrition? How can you plan for succession and maintain long-term relationships? This workshop explore new avenues to retain volunteers – and new ways to think about retention, attrition and volunteer impact. Through an exploration of traditional and new methods of volunteer retention, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the value of volunteer work and the tools and techniques to ensure the success of you volunteer program.

You'll leave this workshop with:

  • A distinction between traditional and new alternative methods of retention
  • Tools to identify volunteer value & impact over traditional retention measurements
  • An array of retention alternatives and associated skills, including succession planning and short-term, high-impact roles

Registrations are accepted at the discretion of Volunteer Toronto. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received within 48 hours of an event. Registration can be transferred to another member of your organization. Written notice must be received more than 48 hours prior to the event date in order to receive a refund. Registered participants who fail to attend an event will be invoiced for the full fee, due 30 days from the date of the invoice.
