CAMP & TRIEC now on the advisory board for Career, Education and Settlement Fair Advisory Board (CESF Advisory Board).

May 14, 2012

Murali Murthy (CAMP) and Racquel Sevilla (TRIEC) join as members on the advisory board for Canadian Immigrant and Scotiabank’s 2nd annual Career, Education and Settlement Fair on June 26, 2012.

Canadian Immigrant is committed to supporting the settlement and integration of newcomers in Canadian society.  Their goal is to inform, educate, motivate and connect newcomers by providing free access to firsthand information and tools in the areas of education and careers as well as various issues related to settlement.  In this vein, CAMP has delightedly accepted the invitation to become a member of the Career, Education and Settlement Fair Advisory Board (CESF Advisory Board).

The day-long fair is free to all newcomers and recent immigrants in Toronto and the GTA.  The Fair offers various exhibitors and interactive sessions led by experts in various fields of interest to new Canadians.  The goal is to carry forth the mandate to inform, educate and motivate new Canadians as they begin and continue their settlement journey. Essential information and tips will be provided on job hunting, accreditation and upgrading of education, as well as information about where to live, where to study and most importantly who should be reached out to when seeking assistance in their settlement.

By joining the CESF board, CAMP and TRIEC will be able to assist newcomers in their mission to achieve a successful life in Canada.  As a professional in the settlement industry, having Murali’s voice on the CESF advisory board would help provide insight on stakeholders and improve services offered at the Fair.

Please mark the date and do attend the fair- Canadian Immigrant and Scotiabank proudly presents the 2nd annual Career, Education and Settlement Fair on June 26, 2012. See the PINs Event Calendar for more details and check out the PINs booth at the fair!
