Are you hearing suggestions that you should volunteer but aren't sure how to start? Do you want to learn more about the benefits of volunteering? Would you like to feel more settled in Canada or learn English? This information session is for you!  

This 1.5 hour interactive session will focus on the who, what, when, where and how of volunteering and showcase how easy and fun volunteering can be! 

 Questions that will be answered include:

  • What is volunteering?
  • How do I find a volunteer position?
  • Why should I volunteer?
  • What are the benefits of volunteering?
  • Will volunteering help me find work?  


The session will be an introduction to volunteering in Toronto and will be led by Karen, an avid volunteer who looks forward to sharing about her experience and knowledge of volunteering.
