Recruiting volunteers is an integral part of your volunteer program – this full-day workshop will help you energize (or re-energize) the process and give you the tools to ensure your next wave of recruitment is more successful than ever! In this session, we’ll work through role planning, writing excellent & compliant position descriptions, promoting your roles (including social media), targeting the right audience and ensuring you’re reaching diverse audiences in an accessible way.

By the end of this full-day workshop, participants will have developed:

  • Well-planned and detailed position descriptions
  • Tweets, Facebook posts and other recruitment promotion tools
  • Skills and tools for recruiting specific audiences (youth, seniors, high-skilled volunteers, newcomers)
  • Systems for diverse & accessible recruitment processes

Lunch will not be provided - coffee, tea and light refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
