Trailblazer Series: Overcoming Founders' Fatigue

Volunteer Toronto's Trailblazer Series is a set of leadership talks for people who manage volunteer-run non-profit organizations and groups in Toronto. The talks provide an opportunity for local leaders to hear from peers and experts on how to overcome common challenges faced by organizations with no paid staff and limited resources.

Overcoming Founders' Fatigue
Running your own non-profit organization is rewarding but can sometimes feel like an uphill struggle. Founders' Fatigue is a term used to describe the burnout that founders and leaders of non-profits sometimes face when struggling to balance the many responsibilities of running their own non-profit with a pool of limited resources. Passion and creativity are essential to managing a non-profit, but what do you do when it all becomes too much?

Hear from the founders of TEDxToronto, One Voice One Team and Women in Toronto Politics, as they share how they overcome Founders' Fatigue. You'll also have the opportunity to network with other non-profits as you share experiences and advice.

Registration Deadline:

January 13, 2015

Note:

The leadership talks are free of charge and advance registration is required so book now to secure your space!
