olunteer Toronto's Trailblazer Series is a set of leadership talks specifically for people who manage volunteer-run non-profit organizations and groups in Toronto. The talks provide an opportunity for local leaders to hear from peers and experts on how to overcome common challenges faced by organizations with no paid staff and limited resources.

5 Tips for Securing Grants
Do you want to support your organization by finding grants but don’t know where to start? This talk will introduce you to the basics of grant seeking and writing.  

The Facilitator:
Anne Morais has been writing successful grants for over 15 years. She has raised a total of 12 million dollars to support social service delivery in Toronto. With a Bachelor of Education, a Masters in Philosophy and years of professional experience, Anne has the winning combination to help you advance your organizations' programs into funded realities.
