Mentoring has been proven to be an effective way in connecting jobs seekers to employment. It can be helpful for your members to build their professional networks, work on their soft skills and help them connect to people and employment. However, mentoring can be offered in so many different ways. Whether you’re an association interested in starting a mentoring program or you have already established one, this workshop will help you bring your mentoring and your members involved to the next level!

Join us as we learn about:

  • The building blocks and process to start up a mentoring program
  • The various models of mentoring
  • Best practices and lessons learned from different mentoring programs
  • How mentoring can be helpful in connecting your members to employment

  • Monica Anne Brennan – Senior Manager, The Mentoring Partnership program
  • Debroy Chan – Manager, Community Services and Community Lead, JVS Toronto
